Baby girl is here...Now that we are a family of 5 I'm going to need more support and encouragement from other homeschooling families. That's why I'm teaming up with a few good friends to form a new Homeschool Co-op. Have you ever thought?: "Man, I wish someone else could teach science today" or "I wish my kids could work with other students on this project" or "I'm struggling with teaching this math concept I wish I had someone to talk to, I could use some guidance." This is where I've been for while now and I'm certain this new homeschool co-op is that answer I've been looking for. Our new co-op will offer Eagle (my 5 year old) and Elephant (my 4 year old) the opportunity to create life long friendships and participate in hand-on group projects that they will love. I'll also have a chance to take a break from teaching a few days and week and I'll get encouragement from other mom/teachers. Co-op classes will include: Kindergarten and 1st grade level bible, geography, art, music, science, critical thinkings, foreign language, history, and theartre. If you are struggling to offer your student hands on projects, group activities, and a fun learning environment consider joining or starting your own homeschool co-op. Are you a part of a co-op? What to love about it? |
